When I started this blog, it was for motivation to try to get some type of image every day. Now, it's turned into a timeline for the last few years. I get a couple weeks behind at times, but try to keep it mostly current. Does anyone ever read this???

A nesting killdeer. I love these birds. It seems like when the urge to lay an egg comes over them, they just plop it out and make their nest right there. This is in a large parking area at our city's maintenence yard. Luckily, the town guys set some cones around her so no one would run over the nest.
